Christian Sommerfelt (born 1997) began playing the piano at the age of 6. He has been soloist with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra several times. In addition to first prizes in the Norwegian Youth Competition, he has won the Chiaro di Luna competition in Fermo, Italy in 2019. He has played solo and chamber music concerts in places such as Helsinki, Kaunas and Malta, as well as in many Norwegian cities. He is currently studying at The Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, with prof. Håvard Gimse and prof. Marianna Shirinyan.
